"THE RESET SEASON" - WEEK 2, CORE CONNECTION

"THE RESET SEASON" - WEEK 2, CORE CONNECTION

Welcome to week two, fam! Now that you've spent time reconnecting with your breath, posture, and movement foundations, it's time to build on them.

This week focuses on core strength and stability, helping you understand how your centre supports everything you do. We'll explore the different roles of the deep core, front abdominals, obliques, and backline of body, and learn how they work together to create strength, control, and support through movement.

Across the four classes, we'll build awareness through breathing, challenge stability with leg movements, explore rotation and side-body strength, and begin introducing some of the building blocks required for more advanced mat exercises. Remember, the goal isn't to rush into the hardest version of an exercise!! It's to understand what your body is doing, build confidence in the fundamentals, and create a stronger foundation to build from.

By the end of the week, you should feel more connected to your centre, more stable in your movement, and better prepared for what's to come.

    We start with simple rotation-b...

  • "TRS" - WEEK 2, CLASS 7

In this class, we explore what happens when the challenge increases... using only your bodyweight.

As the legs move further away from the body, they create a longer lever, which means your core has to work harder to maintain control and stability. Rather than focusing on how low your legs can go...

  • "TRS" - WEEK 2, CLASS 8

This class is where Week 2 comes together in a more dynamic, integrated way. Instead of thinking about core, hips, or rotation separately, we start to experience how they all work at the same time to support movement.

The yoga block is introduced as a simple tool to give you feedback. It helps y...
