This express mat session is designed to strengthen and reawaken the extensors of the body... glutes, posterior chain, spinal extensors, and shoulder extensors using the Pilates ring as both feedback and resistance. Expect controlled extension work, supported backbends, and subtle end-range challenges that encourage length through strength rather than compression.
This class is intentionally repeatable. Return to it regularly to observe and measure changes in your range of motion, control at end range, and quality of extension. Ideal as a benchmark session for tracking progress, restoring balance to flexion-heavy routines, or recalibrating how your body accesses extension. A fav of mine, enjoy!
