HIGHLIGHT: THE HUNDRED

There's nothing like filming The Hundred at the crack of dawn... that's one way to start the day. This highlight is an important one as you will see The Hundred pop-up in a lot of classes.
It is one of the most recognisable exercises in the Pilates repertoire, and for good reason. It's designed to challenge core endurance, coordinate the breath with movement, and warm the entire body by increasing circulation before flowing into the rest of your practice.
In this highlight, we take time to warm up before breaking down the exercise so you can understand not just how to do it, but why it's such an important foundation. Focus on maintaining a strong abdominal connection, reaching long through the arms, and breathing into the sides and back of the ribcage rather than the neck and shoulders. Remember, the quality of your position is always more important than how low your legs are.
